Our training is open to English learners of all levels. We take you where you are and help you reach your goal level, all we ask is that you are motivated to learn.
At International Mountain Connection, our training courses are open to everyone, without exception.
Individuals who need additional support are invited to share this information with us to help us determine what adaptations should be made to ensure a successful training experience. All information that is shared is confidential and is not shared with other participants in the program. This information is only shared, if necessary, with advisors from our region who help training organisations adapt their programs.

Before being accepted into a program, it is necessary to have a meeting with the trainer and complete an evaluation to determine your level.
Please note that individualized quotes are given only after the initial evaluation and meeting have been completed.
Any participant interested in taking online classes must have access to a computer with high-speed internet access, a webcam, and a microphone.
Objectives and content vary depending on the client’s goals. Please visit our catalog to see the programs and content proposed.
IMC proposes two themes that are targeted for professionals either in the mountain and tourism industries.
The third theme is for those who would like to improve their level of English in other areas, perhaps to prepare for a vacation or project at work.
All programs are tailor-made to meet the needs of our clients. Don’t hesitate to contact us regarding your objectives to improve your English level.
The cost of each program varies. The price is based on the number of hours and the type of training needed to obtain each client’s objectives.

First you’ll need to contact International Mountain Connection. You’ll be sent a questionnaire to fill out to learn more about your language goals. You’ll also be sent a link to take an English assessment to determine your current level.
Although it seems like a lot of work, these two pieces of information are indispensable to send you a quote with an appropriate program.
Once these pieces of information have been completed, you will be contacted to make an appointment with our lead trainer, Michelle Onofrey. You will have a meeting with her by telephone or by Zoom to help define your language objectives.
Within the parameters of your goals and your price range, a quote will be created for your specialized program.
Remember! Quotes for English training with International Mountain Connection are FREE, tailor-made, and non-binding.
If you are happy with the proposed program with the quoted price, you sign a contract and send it back to IMC.
Upon receiving your signed contract, you will receive your convocation, Welcome Booklet, and guides to get you ready to go!
Please note that before beginning your training, it is necessary to complete a questionnaire and have consultation with our training coordinator. Once you have signed your contract, your sessions after 14 days.
Before you can be admitted into a training program, you will need to get a quote for the price and duration of your training program. Please refer to the Quotes section above.
English training is an investment of both time and money and we don’t want to push you into doing something you’re not ready or able to do. Just because you fill out a questionnaire and have a conversation does not mean you have to decide to start English training.
The quote is valid for one year. If you decide to start the program, feel free to contact us.
There are two payment options.
Either the price of the training is divided into three payments, or
One third of the price of the training is paid before the training begins and then each month the client is billed for sessions completed during that month.
Payment terms will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties before the contract is signed.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged and the session will not be made up.
No more than one cancellation per month will be tolerated. Additional cancellations will be charged.
Cancellations by the trainer are rare and will be due to circumstances beyond her control.
If this happens, the trainer will contact the trainee as soon as possible and the session will be rescheduled.
Sessions start and stop at the time indicated.
If the trainee is late, the trainer will begin the session when the trainee arrives and the lesson will end at the time indicated.
