Since everyone is different and not everyone has exactly the same language goals, English training programs are tailor made at IMC.
Many of our clients are mountain guides, mountain rescuers, or living in communities with a growing tourism industry. We also have clients who sell products or services related to the outdoor community.
Not in either of these industries, but still want to improve your English? Don’t worry! We’re happy to accommodate our clients who have interests that don’t include mountains or tourism!
Why train with IMC?
So many people get frustrated because they think they can’t learn a language or they’re not very good at it. They see promises to learn a new language in 30 days or maybe in just two weeks during a full-immersion program overseas, and when they don’t succeed, they feel like a failure.
The truth of the matter is, learning a language isn’t easy for a majority of people. It takes time, effort, and motivation. It doesn’t happen overnight.
Yes, there are people who easily pick up languages and can boast about having learned 5+ languages. Those people definitely have a talent for languages, much like some people have a gift for playing a musical instrument or solving math problems.
Yes, most people can learn these skills, but some people are just wired to do these things more easily than others.
The same goes for learning languages. Yes, it can happen. Like learning any new skill, it takes consistent effort. Together, we can create a program that is the right fit for you. We’ll be there for you every step of the way.

How do I get started or get a quote?
First you’ll need to contact International Mountain Connection. You’ll be sent a questionnaire to fill out to learn more about your language goals. You’ll also be sent a link to take an English assessment to determine your current level.
Although it seems like a lot of work, these two pieces of information are indispensable to send you a quote with an appropriate program.
Once these pieces of information have been completed, you will be contacted to make an appointment with our lead trainer. You will have a meeting with her by telephone or by Zoom to help define your language objectives.
Within the parameters of your goals and your price range, a quote will be created for your specialized program.

How much does it cost?
The price of your English training is determined by the number of hours you choose to take and the location / type of lessons (onsite, online, or at your location). After determining your current level and your linguistic objectives, we can send you a free quote.
Do you have a fixed budget? We understand! Language training is an investment. If you have a specific budget, let us know. We can explain to you the type of training program that we can create for you while staying within your budget.
Are you a micro-entrepreneur? We understand that budgets are tight. Let’s talk about what we can do to work together.
