Please note! We are not currently listed on in the Mon Compte Formation catalog. We are in the process of getting added again after our move and change of SIRET number. We will update this information as it becomes available. Until this update occurs, we will not be able to start new training programs for clients wanting to use their CPF money. IMC’s Policy for Clients Who Need Additional Support

At International Mountain Connection, our training courses are open to everyone, without exception.

Individuals who need additional support are invited to share this information with us to help us determine what adaptations should be made to ensure a successful training experience. All information that is shared is confidential and is not shared with other participants in the program. This information is only shared, if necessary, with advisors from our region who help training organisations adapt their programs.

Is it true that I must may €100 to use my CPF training account?

Yes, it is possible. As of May 2, 2024 there is a fee of €100 for most people who want to use their CPF account to pay for training. Please visit the government article below to learn more about this fee and see if you are required to pay based on your situation.

What are the steps when I sign up for CPF training?

1.) Connect to your account on the Mon Compte Formation website.

Please note: You are now required to use a FranceConnect+ login. This login is obtained through L’Identité Numerique (LaPoste). If you do not have this, you can find steps on how to do it here:

Never share your login information with others and do not allow another person to use your login information!

2.) Once you have logged in to Mon Compte Formation, type “anglais” into the search bar. Choose en présentiel or à distance. Then you will need to do a filter by adding the organization’s name (Michelle Onofrey).

At this time you will see all of the programs available through International Mountain Connection, with Michelle Onofrey as your trainer.

3.) Choose the program you wish to take and click on “Ask for a quote”.

Michelle will receive a message that you have requested a quote.

If you have already spoken with her regarding your program and starting dates, she will include this information and send the quote back to you for you to accept.

If you have not already spoken with her, expect a phone call and/or email from her, as she will want to talk with you about your goals and objectives before you are admitted into the program.

Within 2 days, you will receive a quote from Michelle with your training dates. By law, your beginning training date is a minimum of 11 days after your quote has been sent to you. 

Please note: You must check your messages on the Mon Compte Formation site. Messages are not systematically sent to you via sms or email to let you know that the quote is waiting for you. 

4.) Accept the quote from your Mon Compte Formation account.

5.) At this point, you pay the mandatory €100 contribution to complete your enrollment. 

Please note: If you do not have sufficient funds in your account to pay for the training (training price – €100 personal contribution), you must pay the difference to complete your enrollment.

6.) You will be contacted by Michelle, welcoming you to the training. You will receive a link to an initial language placement test, a convocation, Welcome Booklet and guides to help you get started. And you are ready to go!

Don’t worry! Michelle will be available not only to get you set up and ready to go on the technical side, but she will also be available to help you with questions about your training or technical issues. You can contact her by phone or by email.

If I have difficulties on the Mon Compte Formation site, who do I contact?

For technical problems or problems signing up for a training, you will need to contact Mon Compte Formation directly. The following is a link to their contact page with their phone number and availability.

Do I need to take a test at the end of my training?

Yes. To use your CPF for language training, training centers are required to include a certificate that identifies your language level at the end of the training program.

International Mountain Connection incorporates the English 360° Language Certificate for our training that qualifies for CPF use. The English 360° Certificate uses the CEFR language evaluation system.

The fee for this test is included in the price of the training.

How much money do I have in my CPF account?

To know how much money you have available in your account, you simply need to connect to your account on the Mon Compte Formation platform.

 

Remember, if you don’t already have a France Connect+ account, you will need to do that before you can see how much money you have.

What if I don’t have enough money in my CPF for the training?

When you choose a training that costs more than the amount you have in your CPF account, you are responsible for paying the difference directly to the training organization.

This amount must be paid by you before you complete your registration.

What costs are included in my training? Will I need to pay anything extra?

The fee for the training on the CPF platform includes trainer fees, support materials, and the certification test. 

Transportation, accommodation and meals for the trainee are not included. These expenses must be paid by the trainee.

Remember that it is now mandatory for most people to contribute €100 in order to use their CPF training account. For more information, please read the tab above that references the €100 fee.

What do I need to complete the training?

Online training

Access to a computer with dependable high-speed internet access, a webcam, and a microphone.

In-person training

Transportation to either IMC site.

France Connect + Account

Did you know that it’s necessary to have a digital identity created using the La Poste website to connect to your CPF account? 

You might already have a France Connect account, but you now need a France Connect + account.

How do I create a France Connect+ account?

You probably already have a France Connect account, but to access and pay for your training using your CPF, you need to create a France Connect+ account. This came into effect in October 2022, so many of you probably don’t already have this type of account set up.

 

Don’t worry, you can create your account online. In order to create an account, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid French ID
  • Have a smartphone that uses Android or iOS

If you don’t meet one of these requirements, but you want to use your CPF money and need a France Connect+ account, here is the information given by the government on how to proceed.
